We are making changes to how we practice real estate to help protect you, and we are trying to keep our clients moving as our needs don’t always stop with the even in situations like the current pandemic.

1. Our team can meet your virtually, online, via any platform that works for you or by phone, to review your needs, develop a plan for you, and answer your questions. For viewing homes with us, please see below for our procedures.
2. We are scheduling showings without any overlapping appointments to minimize contact and practicing social distancing at the live showings. We will turn on/off lights, open/close doors, so you won’t need to touch anything within the home.
3. No open at houses at this time, however, we were already incorporating technology into our business practices and will continue to produce and provide quality video tours of our listings along with updates and tips on real estate.
4. Our valued lender partners are virtually meeting and collecting docs online as well to keep the processes moving.
5. Our valued title company partners are creating new ways to sign your docs to help reduce contact by scheduling each side of the closing for transactions at separate times or in separate rooms with disinfecting policies to comply with Dr. Acton’s requirements; some new options like signing in the parking lot in your own car, or they will come to you to sign docs in your own home; and for sellers only, online options.
We will strive to keep you updated as we work to continue to help you reach your real estate goals during this time, and again please don't hesitate to call or text anytime we are here to help. Jan 614-206-3373 & Amy 614-657-2005

For Safer Showings

The Health of All is Our Greatest Concern.
If you have been diagnosed with COVID 19, have been exposed to someone who has or are exhibiting symptoms (fever, cough, trouble breathing), please do not enter a listed property. We’d be happy to schedule a showing at another time.

For agents with buyers showing our listings, we ask:

Before showing one our homes for sale that the buyer needs to have their loan pre-approval and please view our online photos and video tour to determine if our home is a good fit, another suggestion is to review a satellite view of the house to be certain the surroundings won’t rule it out. If you feel our listing is a good fit, please do schedule a showing.

We are not allowing over-lapping showings for your safety so please only be in the home during your scheduled time period. IPlease wear a face covering and use hand sanitizer before entering the home.

Sellers—Will leave the home, remove all fur bearing pets from the home for the showing, turn on all lights, and open doors so you and the buyers should not have to touch much if anything.

For Vacant homes—We recommend only the real estate agent enter and turn on all lights, then allow the buyer to walk through the home, then the agent should turn off all lights and lock the home.

Buyers—Please use a face covering, and wear clean socks for the showing and remove shoes and leave on the porch. Please do not touch or sit on any of the furniture and if possible, it would be preferred that children do not attend the showing; or if present, that they are carried if possible or wait in the car (this is to help minimize traffic in the house).

Remember—To stay 6 to 10 feet apart within the home and do not touch your faces.

We recommend upon leaving the home: Everyone sanitizes hands. Go home. Immediately remove socks and toss in the laundry machine, and wash your hands.

For our buyers when we show a home, we ask:

Our Team—With the current conditions our showing will be a little different than in the past. Since we may be seeing clients throughout the day, we have taken to wearing a mask – while it isn’t our favorite way to greet people, we want to make sure we are keeping our clients safe and not passing the virus from one group to another. When we meet at a home, I will go in first and make sure lights are on and doors are open, then come back and let you go through. This should assure you won’t have to touch much of anything and will make it easiest for us to keep our 6 - 10 feet of distance.

Buyers—Please use a face covering, and wear clean socks for the showing and remove shoes and leave them on the porch. Please do not touch or sit on any of the furniture and if possible, it would be preferred that children do not attend the showing; or if present, that they are carried if possible or wait in the car (this is to help minimize traffic in the house).
